Balanced Dualism.

 - Balanced Dualism is the ancient Chinese philosophy of Yin and Yang. A theory that two things (Yin & Yang) are opposing forces and that as a whole create "Qi", a word that in Ancient China represents Life. This concept has stood the test of time for 3,500 years and is still relevant today. For everything we experience there is an opposing force, whether it be physical or mental.

 

Lost Connection.

 - Losing connection is something we all experience. For some, losing connection is lonely while for others it can be freeing. Where is it that loneliness meets freedom? This set of images provokes thought into the scale of what is lonely and what is free. Can you experience both from one image?

Growth.

 - Even when you cant observe it, it's unfolding before your eyes. In many different ways can one experience growth. Whether looking at yourself in the mirror or finding peace in a scene that is all too familiar. Recognition of growth in a scene can bring you closer to understanding its purpose, organizing some of the chaos of everyday life. Can you recognize growth in this set of images?

Avid.

 - A familiar word that we can all relate to in one way or another. You could be an avid moviegoer or someone who spends everyday practicing meditation. Passion is what gives us the drive to succeed at what we do and without passion, avid would fail to have meaning. Look at your life and ask yourself what it is that you are avid about. This set of images depicts the passion that we can find in so many different ways.
